Hollow Tree surf camp is made up of four boutique villas with private plunge pools, lounge areas, a yoga deck, a small surf shop, and onsite restaurant. It’s great for couples, groups of friends, and is family-friendly as there are plenty of activities and kids under seven years old can stay free.

Kandui Villas Surf Camp caters to those with a penchant for luxury. The umas have ocean views, beach access, air conditioning, internet access, and hot water showers. Kandui Villas is set in front of Playgrounds, one of the most iconic waves in the Mentawi Islands. If you want a meditative and luxurious escape, then Awera Surf Camp is a top choice. The resort itself is set on its own private beach with a large community area, pool, meditation garden, and volleyball court. Each villa has both an indoor and outdoor shower, air conditioning, spacious balcony area, and luxury linen.
Awera Surf Camp is conveniently located next to three major surf breaks. They have three separate speedboats that shuttle surfers to and from the best spots of the day, accommodating all abilities. Beginners can take lessons from an experienced instructors while those in search of classic Indo barrels can plan trip around the region’s heavier waves. The resort hosts two yoga sessions per day in their dedicated yoga shala.
